Garlic Sesame Beef with Green Beans

Servings:  

  1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan (no oil) until golden brown.
  2. Immediately remove from the pan and place in a dish so they don’t burn. Set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat and cook the beef in batches until just seared, removing from the pan when done. (It doesn’t need to be cooked through as it will go back in the pan.)
  4. Return all the beef to the pan with the beans and garlic and cook, stirring over high heat for 1-2 minutes, until the beef is cooked and the beans are hot.
  5. Add the sesame oil, stir to coat the meat and beans and remove from the heat.
  6. Serve garnished with sesame seeds.
