Ingredients
- 2 400g tins chickpeas rinsed & drained
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 red onion
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 Tbsp Besan (chick pea flour)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp ground coriander
- 1 Tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon juiced & zested
- 3 cups fresh herbs eg parsley, oregano, coriander, mint

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until combined. You can make it as smooth or as chunky as you like.
- Shape into patties and place on a tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220oC for 20 minutes.
Recipe Notes
Use whichever fresh herbs you like the best. You can use just one, or a mixture.
